A clinic in Alaska is seeking a family practice physician to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months beginning in July. The provider will see patients of all ages and administer chronic disease management care as well as primary care. Located in the "Fishing Capital of Alaska," this facility is in a beautiful location for the provider to enjoy after work and on weekends throughout the summer and fall. The provider will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will not be on call. This facility prefers providers who have experience in rural medicine, chronic disease management, and who have performed biopsies, suturing, and fracture setting. This facility uses Cerner EMR and will provide training.
