Medical Director, Pediatric Echocardiography

Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is seeking a dynamic individual with a desire for leadership to serve as the Medical Director of Pediatric Echocardiography and join an established and growing practice. All applicants should have completed three years of fellowship in pediatric cardiology with an additional year of extended training in advanced congenital cardiac imaging in echocardiography/MRI. The desired candidate will also have a minimum of five years of pediatric echocardiography practice experience and be board-certified in pediatric cardiology. An up-to-date knowledge of the most recent technological advances and experience in C/MRI and cardiac CT is preferred.

The IAC-accredited echocardiography lab at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Heart Institute sees a wide range of complex cases. Current employed faculty includes: three Congenital Heart surgeons, two interventional cardiologists, two transplant cardiologists, one imaging cardiologist, one electrophysiologist, one inpatient cardiologist, three adult congenital cardiologists, and over 40 community pediatric cardiologists whom they work in collaboration with.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
