A growing medical facility in Iowa seeks an orthopedic surgeon to assist with coverage. This facility is well-respected and has a team-oriented atmosphere. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 10 outpatients per day, and one inpatient every two days. This is a level IV trauma facility with a majority older population of patients. The provider must have competency with general orthopedic procedures and total joints. You will have assistance from a full support staff of nurses and specialists using the Epic EMR system. Qualified candidates will have to obtain a site-specific CSP. We will provide assistance with all hospital privileging paperwork. The preferred candidate will have an active, unrestricted IA medical license in-hand. This facility is willing to license a well-qualified candidate.
