Director of Non-Invasive Imaging

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Director of Non-Invasive Imaging for the Pediatric Cardiology Department within the Institute of Pediatrics and the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital.

The successful candidate will lead the Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging program for the Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center at the Cleveland Clinic. Our world class congenital heart center now includes 14 cardiologists and 3 congenital cardiothoracic surgeons after the recruitment of the new Chief of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgery in early 2016. Our ICAEL accredited center (TTE, TEE and fetal) performs over 7000 transthoracic echocardiograms, over 400 fetal echocardiograms and over 175 cardiac MRI's annually. Over 10,000 newborn deliveries occur in our regional health system and our Special Delivery Unit per year. The Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center has busy programs for adult congenital heart disease, electrophysiology, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and transplant services. We have an active fellowship program with 6 trainees and funding earmarked for a 4th year fellow in non-invasive imaging.

A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. The Department deservedly enjoys a national reputation for excellence in clinical care and patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Vascular Institute which provides cutting edge technology including novel imaging techniques such as 4-D echo and MRI with an on-site 3D printer, ranked #1 in USNWR for 23 straight years. With strong leadership, the imaging program has tremendous academic growth potential. Desirable interests should include clinical and/or basic science research as well as an interest in adult congenital heart disease.
