Women’s Reproductive Psychiatry Physician

Position Description

Seattle, Washington - Seeking BC/BE Psychiatrist with experience in perinatal mental health. Part-time position (0.5 FTE). Mix of outpatient and inpatient care. Competitive compensation. Experienced psychiatrist preferred, but new graduates with required skills are welcome to apply. Successful candidate will have completed a residency in Psychiatry and have an interest in Reproductive Psychiatry. Join a well-established and collegial team of 2 psychiatrists and 5 social workers at Swedish Medical Center’s growing Center for Perinatal Bonding and Support, a unique clinic offering a variety of behavioral health services to pregnant and postpartum women suffering from mood and anxiety disorders. The center is built around a partial hospitalization program (PHP), with additional services including medication management and short-term therapy. Role would include seeing women for pre-conception medication counseling and medication management throughout pregnancy and one year postpartum as well as recruiting women for the PHP. Schedule would include 0.2 FTE clinical care within the center and 0.2 clinical care at our Issaquah site. A half day (0.1 FTE) would be spent seeing women in the PHP for medication management.
