Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is actively recruiting for a staff Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our team the campus of Cardon’s Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) in Mesa, AZ. BCS provides fully integrated pediatric services to the greater Phoenix area, with the ENT Clinic just steps away from the children’s hospital, specialties and primary care offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who prefers working in a collaborative, integrated system.

Servicing much of the East Valley, this team’s clinical responsibilities include general ENT care plus airway reconstruction. The ENT will support the NICU and work closely with the cranio-facial, pulmonology, and cardiac programs at CCMC. BCS seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

Peds ENT fellowship-trained candidate with experience and comfort with ear and mastoid surgery, rhinology, and sinus surgery for children, including the use of stereotactic navigation, airway endoscopy, micro laryngeal surgery, open airway reconstruction, and head and neck surgery. Board certification or eligibility required.

Cardon Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) located on the campus of Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ is a state-of-the-art 260-bed children’s care facility that opened November 2009. Pediatric Population is 350,000. CCMC now has 104 NICU beds and 24 PICU beds staffed with 24/7 Intensivists. The recently expanded Pediatric ED provides specialized emergency care for kids of all ages and includes 26 beds. Pediatric Trauma Services are set to open later this year. There are more than 240 pediatric physicians on staff, covering more than 27 specialties. The hospital provides a full range of services.

Mesa, Arizona is the fourth largest city in Arizona and part of the Phoenix Metro area. It is convenient to two airports, professional sports and entertainment, outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, golf, and biking, and just 20 minutes to Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix.
