Eastern Maine Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible MD/DO Family Medicine Physician to join our Brewer Family Medicine practice. This is a well-established, quality driven, outpatient Family Medicine practice serving the Bangor/Brewer communities. Our team of physicians and PA/NP providers are committed to providing excellent medical care, exceptional service and a satisfying relationship between patient and provider. We do this by blending the latest technology with old-fashioned care and customer service.

Our skilled office staff and providers work as an integrated care team to provide our patients with a full spectrum of family care. We are a participant in the Maine Quality Counts, Home Health Initiative offering proactive care management services to patients with chronic illnesses, and behavioral health and care manager support on-site.

Eastern Maine Medical Center offers exceptional family medicine practice opportunities in modern facilities with a cutting edge EMR. A supportive, collegial atmosphere, and minimal call which is strictly outpatient characterize our work environment. We offer excellent compensation and benefits, including two weeks CME and six weeks’ vacation.

Physician opportunities require an MD/DO or foreign equivalent, three year Family Medicine Residency, Maine physician licensure (or immediately eligible for same), and Board certification/eligibility. Candidates in need of J-1 visa waivers welcome to apply.

Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411-bed, regional, tertiary care and level II trauma center for the more than 500,000 residents living in the nine counties of central, eastern, and northern Maine. Our neighbors count on us as a resource for healthcare and health information, as a source of support and assistance for area physicians and other healthcare providers, and as a training ground for the health professionals of the future.

Ours is an award-winning small city offering easy access to Maine’s spectacular coast, lakes, and mountains. Schools rank among New England’s best; the University of Maine flagship campus is located in neighboring Orono. We are the regional hub for medicine, the arts, and commerce. Bangor International Airport offers direct and one-stop service to most major destinations.
