A clinic in California needs an urgent care physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately seven months from mid-July to the beginning of February with a possible extension. On a typical day, the provider will see between 18 and 20 patients for breathing problems, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, sprains, cold, cough, and flu, fever, minor cuts and burns, back, muscle, and body aches, ear infections, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and sutures. The locum will work from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. This facility uses the Nextgen EMR and will provide training.
