Occupational Medicine Physician

TriHealth is welcoming a BE/BC physician interested in providing Occupational Medicine management and services. In this role you will have oversight for a number of TriHealth OccMed centers located throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

With more than 30 years' experience in the delivery of OccMed care, we are the first choice of thousands of area businesses for our expertise in every aspect of workplace health and safety. From injury treatment and physical examinations to immigration exams, we offer a comprehensive range of occupational and health medicine services on-site at your business or at our multiple centers across the region.

Duties:

· Perform injury and subsequent follow up care for musculoskeletal injuries and lacerations/suture repair

· Some eye injury, foreign body removal

· Limited fracture care, concussions

· Perform DOT, OSHA, Post-offer, INS examinations

· Opportunity to provide specialty exams and evaluations to expand service line based on existing or desire-to-obtain

skills

Requirements:

· Ability to work in face-paced environment

· Flexible with the unpredictable ebb and flow of a walk-in clinic

· Desire to jump in and assist when needed

· Demonstrated leadership/mentorship/teaching skills for APC and team member

· Great communication skills when addressing patients and employers

· Willingness to obtain Civil Surgeon, DOT, MRO, IME certifications

Patient population includes employees or prospective employees aged 16+. Some immigration applicants may be as young as two years of age. The population represents a wide variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds with some language barriers to be expected.
