PeaceHealth at RiverBend Medical Center and University District Medical Center is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Medical Director of Hospitalist Services. Our Hospitalists are a proud and progressive group who work collaboratively and share the ultimate goal of providing safe, individualized and compassionate care. The Hospitalist group consists of approximately 50 full-time employees. We are seeking a leader who will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, quality, service excellence, safety, financial performance and a cohesive voice for the institution.

Opportunity Details:

• Will work in partnership with the Director of Hospital Medicine in a Dyad role
• Partner with departments and operational leaders to oversee clinical quality, process improvement and recommendations for optimizing care standards
• Foster effective working relationships and helps facilitate resolution to problems
• Empowering leader who supports clinical autonomy
• Cultivate program growth, culture and dynamics of the Hospitalist team
• Liaison between Hospitalist team, multiple other departments and Hospital Administration
• Supports and models behavioral standards, Caregiver and Leadership Models and helps ensure the achievement of clinical services goals
• Operational leadership experience; development, management, marketing, budgeting and financial success of the department
• Lead in recruitment, orientation and retention programs
