A hospital in New York is looking for an internal medicine physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for six months from early September to the beginning of March with a possible extension. On a typical day, the locum will see between 15 and 20 patients of all ages for rounding in the telemetry unit, ICU, and step down unit. The provider will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. plus 24-hour call coverage via phone only. This facility uses the Allscripts EMR.
