The Division of Medical Oncology at Duke University Medical Center and the Duke Cancer Institute are recruiting a board certified MD or MD/PhD Medical Oncologist with a committed interest and expertise in breast cancer to serve as Co-Director of Breast Oncology care in Wake County, NC. The clinical practice would be based at Duke Women's Cancer Care Center in highly-desirable Raleigh, North Carolina.  Proven clinical leadership and willingness to also manage general hematology/oncology patients is required.  Responsibilities include outpatient clinical service, plus the potential to play a significant role in leading clinical research in Wake County through the Duke Cancer Institute.

Duke Women's Cancer Care Center and Duke Raleigh Hospital are both aligned with Duke Cancer Institute, providing world-renowned clinical research, innovative treatments and compassionate care for individuals facing breast cancer and other malignancies. Therapeutics, focusing on the prevention and treatment of breast cancer have been a strong focus of this program.  Our faculty are members of the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology and the Duke Cancer Institute. The Duke Cancer Institute is one of only 40 centers in the country designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
