American College of Physicians (ACP), a prestigious medical membership association for doctors of internal medicine located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Vice President of Medical Education.

The Vice President oversees a staff of approximately 20 employees within the Medical Education Division, and is responsible for a variety of educational programs, products, and services, including ACP’s Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program (MKSAP), In Training Exam (ITE), the annual scientific meeting, and awarded grants.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President and serves as the primary liaison for component groups of the Council of Medical Specialty Societies and other external professional organizations, foundations, and agencies.

We are seeking a proven leader who is committed to producing innovative and dynamic medical education programs. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of the continuum of medical education from training throughout a professional career; educational trends; and professional requirements such as certification, CME, and maintenance of certification.

Successful candidates must possess an MD, DO, or MBBS, with extensive medical education experience.
