Columbia University's Department of Medicine invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level. M.D., Ph.D. or professional degree and a strong record of research and publication required. Candidates will be expected to sustain an active research and publication agenda and teach in the College of Physicians and Surgeons.  

Minimum Qualifications: M.D., Ph.D. or professional doctoral degree.  All candidates must show promise for future development. Candidates must also have strong publishing and teaching future and some measure of academic/research or teaching independence from mentor.

Preferred Qualifications: Depending on the field of research and current needs for field and instructional coverage within the department, certain subspecialties may be preferred.
