Geriatrician

SUMMARY:

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians (LGHP) – Geriatrics seeks a BE/BC Geriatrician to join one of the largest and most well-established geriatrics practices in the region. This opportunity includes a customized outpatient-based experience, positioning the geriatrician as a specialty consultant to a network of nationally recognized medical homes. This collaborative group, with a mission of educating patients and meeting the needs of vulnerable older adults within the Lancaster area, is comprised of three office locations, 15 BC Geriatricians, and 16 Geriatric Nurse Practitioners. Long-term care and comprehensive medical direction is provided at seven facilities throughout the community. Additional responsibilities can be tailored to the right candidate’s professional interests. Examples include: teaching and precepting residents/geriatric fellows as well as medical direction and senior health geriatric consultation within a hospital environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Completion of an accredited Family or Internal Medicine Residency program
• Completion of an accredited Geriatrics Fellowship program
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible/CMD or SNFist candidates are encouraged to apply
