Job Description

Locums General Surgery/Bariatric need in New Hampshire (Willing to License)
Coverage Dates: ASAP-August 15, 2018 and ongoing M-f 8am-5pm

Procedures include: gall bladder surgery, hernia surgery, minor office procedures, surgery for intestinal disease
Will do 1-2 days in OR, other days in clinic
80 percent adults, 15 percent geriatrics, 5 percent pediatrics
Work in a single specialty group
will do inpatient and outpatient work
2 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms
Work with 2 MAs
All scheduled patients
Physician is responsible for evaluating and responding (operating if needed) on any bariatric complications presenting in our ER/trauma center.
For ER call, general Surgery issues are handled by the trauma surgeons. Bariatric issues are handled by the locums doc.
Locums required to evaluate and respond on prior patients of physicians that left practice.
Practice is general and Bariatrics
See 15-18 patients per day
No call
Weekend call is phone only
