As we expand our neurological health services across the Northwell Health System, the Department of Neurology is seeking dynamic junior and senior neurologists to join our academic multi-disciplinary team. Opportunities are currently available in Metropolitan New York City, Westchester and Long Island. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology. We are welcoming all specialties, including

The Neurology Service Line is lead by Dr. Souhel Najjar, who is a world-renowned physician, internationally recognized for his clinical, research and teaching expertise, having dedicated his career to the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, neuro-inflammation related neuropsychiatric disorders and autoimmune disorders of central nervous system.

The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City and Westchester; with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. The Department of Neurology brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education and research.

In addition, an academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience. Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Health Physician Partners, the seventh largest medical group in the country.
