ACADEMIC NON-INVASIVE CARDIOLOGIST IN AMERICA’S HEARTLAND

The Division of Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is recruiting dynamic Cardiologists to join our rapidly growing academic clinical practice. As a full-time faculty member, the successful applicant will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship and join a vibrant, diverse, and distinguished community of faculty colleagues.

The prospective faculty member will enjoy a highly balanced work and call schedule consisting of outpatient and inpatient clinical services along with dedicated imaging laboratory assignments. Ample opportunities exist to engage in various research and education activities within the College of Medicine, residency, and fellowship programs. We offer a highly competitive benefits package and rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.

The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Cardiology. To build upon expertise in advanced multi-modality imaging that already exists within the Division, we are seeking candidates with Level II training in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Level III training in either of these two modalities or in cardiac CT and/or MI is desirable.
