JOB SUMMARY:

Geisinger Health System is seeking a BC/BE, Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our Department of Ophthalmology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. The new associate will join a well-established practice with more than 20 multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or experienced ophthalmologist to teach residents and perform research while practicing in a new state-of-the-art-facility. North Central Pennsylvania is located in the beautiful Susquehanna River Valley and offers a hassle-free community living allowing for a balanced professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle.

GEISINGER-COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (G-CMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton’s only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit.
