Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is actively recruiting for a staff Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join our team of five pediatric hematologists/oncologists at Cardon Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) and Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC) in the Phoenix metropolitan area. BCS provides fully integrated pediatric hematology and oncology services to the greater Phoenix area. CCMC is a full member of Children’s Oncology Group. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician to join a robust practice engaged in building its program. Working at both the CCMC and BTMC campus, this provider will enjoy the hands-on, collaborative team approach in practicing excellent patient care while assisting in expanding our program. This includes participation in the Division's strategic, clinical, and operational goals while promoting the multidisciplinary care of patients as well as research activities within the program. 

BCS seeks an exceptional clinician with a minimum of three years of experience post fellowship, plus proven skills and values that will complement a highly successful clinical enterprise. Candidates should have excellent clinical training and be Board Certified in pediatric hematology oncology.

Cardon Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) located on the campus of Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ is a state-of-the-art 260-bed children’s care facility that opened November 2009. Pediatric Population is 350,000. With more than 240 employed pediatric physicians covering more than 27 specialties, 104 NICU beds, and 24 PICU beds staffed with 24/7 intensivists, and a newly expanded Pediatric ED, this hospital provides a full range of services to children of the East Valley.

At BTMC, Thunderbird Children’s Center is located in the West Valley of Phoenix in Glendale, Arizona. BTMC is 555-bed facility with a 40-bed inpatient pediatric ward, a 35-bed NICU, and a 17-bed PICU. The PICU and wards are staffed with 24/7 pediatric intensivists and hospitalists. BTMC is currently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the Phoenix metropolitan area by US News & World Report and is a recipient of a prestigious "Best of the West" award from Westmarc in recognition of the hospital's contributions to the region.
