Pediatric Physician Assignment in Mississippi - WBY# JOB-2448000

A Mississippi-based medical facility seeks a pediatrician to assist with locum tenens coverage. The assignment is four, 24-hour shifts to include 4 hours. They are looking for someone that can cover an 8 to10 day stretch each month starting in July. Locums will round on babies in the nursery. There are occasionally babies that are 32 weeks old (no younger). The patient census in the nursery will average 4 to 12 per day. The covering physician will also attend high-risk C-sections and deliveries. There will be occasionally a couple of pediatric patients with respiratory issues. Assistance with hospital privileges will be provided. Travel expenses will be covered for Mississippi licensed candidates.
