The Division of Gastroenterology at Albany Medical College is recruiting for senior faculty as well as newly graduated GI Fellows. The IBD Center has an expansive referral network, an onsite infusion unit, a spacious endscopy suite, and advanced care providers. There is ongoing NIH supported IBD research and pharmaceutical studies. The Division of Gastroenterology has an accredited six-person GI Fellowship Program. The Endoscopy Suite is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies including an ERCP/EUS suite, capsule endoscopy, SpyGlass, BARRX, HD/NBI, a Bravo system, and impedance/high resolution manometry. Albany Medical College is part of Albany Medical Center, northeastern New York's only academic health sciences center, which includes Albany Medical Center Hospital, one of upstate New York's largest teaching hospitals. The hospital is expanding with construction of a $360 Million patient pavilion now underway.
