Health Science Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Hospital-Based Oncology

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Hospital-Based Oncology Program.

Candidates must have an MD Degree and be ABIM board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology. Candidates should have strong expertise in clinical care, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate/transition care between inpatient/outpatient settings, and good understanding of health care systems to manage patient care needs. Interest in education, operations, and/or informatics highly encouraged.

Candidates will have the responsibility for patient care in a hospital-based oncology consult setting, and will also have the opportunity for relevant operational, educational, or research activities. The appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical series at a rank compatible with the candidate's qualifications.
