The Medical Faculty of the University of Bern and the University Hospital (Inselspital) in Bern, Switzerland, invite applications for an Associate Professorship for Translational Cardiology in Electrophysiology/Rhythmology (Extraordinariat) (100% – double appointment in Dept. of Cardiology and Pre-Clinical Institute). Start date: January 1st 2019 or by mutual agreement.

The new position has been created to extend existing basic, pre-clinical, and clinical research projects in cardiac electrophysiology with the ultimate goal to establish a translational core research group that interconnects with existing research activities.
