We are seeking full-time Faculty who are passionate about teaching family and community medicine with a focus on care of the underserved. Our 10-10-10 program is based at Natividad Medical Center, a 172-bed county safety-net hospital serving the community of Salinas, CA. Our graduates are prepared to work in any setting, with advanced skills in hospital medicine and maternity care, in addition to comprehensive ambulatory care. Residents and Faculty engage in practice transformation in our state-of-the-art 16,000 square foot Family Medicine Practice which opened on the hospital campus in 2015. Our educational programs include a family medicine obstetrics fellowship, a global health fellowship through UCSF, and medical student clerkships in collaboration with Touro and UCSF medical schools.

In addition to outpatient family medicine, our Core Faculty practice obstetrics, hospital medicine, or both. Care of high risk OB patients and Cesarean section privileges available for qualified family physician faculty, and we have a large family medicine OB call group, including community-based family physicians. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. Spanish language proficiency is preferred, as the majority of our patients are immigrant farm workers. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with skills and experience.

Faculty and residents live from Salinas to the Monterey peninsula (Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove) to the east, and to Morgan Hill and San Jose to the north.
