Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension

Position Number: 12716

The University of Colorado, Department of Medicine seeks a Division Head for the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension. The Division Head will lead the clinical, educational, research, and other programmatic missions of this dynamic division of the Department of Medicine and will foster interdisciplinary collaborations with other Divisions, Departments, and the health system. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership, organizational and mentoring skills, excellent communication skills, and have an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or international equivalent terminal degree. Candidates should have a proven record of administrative and academic leadership abilities, as well as a demonstrated commitment to education and mentoring. A strong record of scholarly achievement and extramural funding is preferred. The Division Head reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Medicine.
