A hospital in Delaware is looking for an emergency medicine physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for one month from early April to early May with a possible ongoing extension. This position will require the provider to order and interpret diagnostic tests and see patients for abdominal pain, chest pain, falls, open wounds, bruises, fractures, headaches, and shortness of breath. On a typical day, the locum will see between 15 and 25 adult patients. The provider will work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. This facility uses the Epic EMR and will provide training.
