TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our OB/Gyn Hospitalist team at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This opportunity includes supporting a Federally Qualified Clinic and a Family Medicine Residency clinic. We ask that you be a Board Certified in OB/Gyn, able to demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, and a focus on providing quality care placing the patient above all other considerations. Additional qualifications also include active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/Gyn specialty, and a current New Jersey license to practice. This position entails 20 to 40 hours per week of clinic coverage over 3 - 5 weekdays providing prenatal and postpartum care, as well as Gyn services. The opportunity is available to also cover some 24-hour in-house OB/Gyn Hospitalist shifts on a PRN basis to perform deliveries and Emergency Gyn services as needed. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with and supporting Certified Nurse Midwifes and Family Medicine Residents. TeamHealth offers competitive pay plus paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage and sovereign immunity with FQHC patients. Candidates must possess a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization, insurability for malpractice insurance, and at least 3 years of post-residency experience with a successful record of accomplishment.
