A practice in Maryland needs a neurologist who can provide locum tenens coverage. The client would like to show the office on May 23 or 24. The locum will begin seeing patients on May 28. On the job, the locum will be responsible for all general outpatient neurology. The provider may need to read EEGs. On a typical day, the locum will see up to 15 adult patients. This position also requires the provider to collaborate with a PA and answer their questions. Notes must be done the same day. There will also be some phone calls to return and paperwork to fill out. This is a full-time position requiring the locum to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
