We have a premium opportunity for a BE/BC Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to be part of a successful, integrated network of collegial providers in an employed practice model in a bucolic rural setting in Sterling, CO. This represents an excellent opportunity to help grow and build the program. Currently, the average daily patient volume is 10-15.

You’ll see all types of adult cancer care at the David Walsh Cancer Center, located at Sterling Regional MedCenter (SRM). Practice in a multidisciplinary approach to care along with a full-time radiation oncologist and APN. Full support of chemotherapy certified nursing staff, oncology pharmacy support, cancer registry, and active tumor board conferences. Center has a full-time radiation oncology department with a Varian 21EX linear accelerator. Providing service locally to patients in northern/northeastern Colorado and surrounding region.

SRM, a JCAHO accredited, newly remodeled, 36-bed acute care facility and Level III Trauma Center. SRM has four large operating rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, the service of full-time in-house Hospitalists, as well as support from a full compliment of specialties including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Family Practice. Additional services include comprehensive Diagnostics Lab, Radiology Department, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Cardiopulmonary, and on-site Rehabilitation center.
