Vice President, Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer

Nash Health Care is seeking a Vice President, Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer for their hospital located in Rocky Mount, NC.

This leadership position will provide professional guidance on matters relating to medical care and the medical staff and will advance the clinical practice performance of the medical staff.

• Serve as the Administrative interface with the organized medical staff, elected medical staff leaders, department chairs, committee chairs, and medical directors.
• Serve as the medical staff administrative liaison to the CEO, Board of Directors, Senior Leadership, and Department Directors.
• Assist Medical Staff in the review of clinical practices at the hospital and promote high quality medical care and outcomes.
• Work with hospital management to drive patient and physician experience initiatives in the hospital and physician practices.

Nash Health Care is a non-profit hospital authority comprised of five licensed hospitals totaling 403-beds: Nash General Hospital, Nash Day Hospital, the Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center, Community Hospital and Coastal Plain Hospital. It serves Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, Wilson, and Johnston counties, but draws patients from beyond these areas as well.
