Medical Director

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to lead our team in the Emergency Department as Medical Director at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Mercy hospital is a high acuity tertiary care community hospital seeing approximately 55,000 visits annually and has an admission rate 28%. This is a Joint Commission accredited comprehensive stroke center and one of only two 24/7 PCI centers in the city of Buffalo. There has been a recent process change in the ED, which combines a provider in triage with a split flow model. The ED has a solid core group of physicians and APCs that work well together, and embrace trying new innovative processes.
