Medical Director of Heart Failure is needed at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Heart & Vascular Institute in Northern Kentucky/ Greater Cincinnati.

Cardiologist, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology, Fellowship trained in Heart Failure with cardiac transplant/LVAD experience is sought to join the Heart & Vascular team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare as Medical Director. The group includes 21 cardiologists and electrophysiologists, four cardiothoracic surgeons, and four vascular surgeons. The Medical Director of Heart Failure will direct and guide the advanced Heart Failure program.

In addition to providing Heart Failure patient care and leading the establishment of an LVAD program in the next 12-24 months, the Medical Director will oversee the Heart Failure Clinic and the Heart Failure services across multiple campuses.

The Heart & Vascular Institute at St. Elizabeth is also involved in multiple clinical trials. Opportunities are available for the Medical Director to participate in our Clinical Research Institute. Academic affiliation(s) are possible for qualified candidates. Extensive collaboration with Mayo Clinic physicians for clinical and research purposes through our affiliation with the Mayo Clinic Care Network also exists.

Salary commensurate with experience.
