Kadlec Regional Medical Center d/b/a Kadlec Clinic desires to employ a Neurologist at the Kadlec Clinic and Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. The Neurologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent diseases and disorders of the nervous system. The Neurologist is responsible for the care of patients assigned to them. The Neurologist is responsible for conducting medical care professionally and upholding the highest level of quality service. Specifically the Neurologist has the following duties and responsibilities: * Serve as caregiver for patients. * Perform initial history and physical exam on admission where appropriate. * Work with the nursing staff to direct care for patients. * Perform procedures and follow-up hospital visits to patients. * Provide clinical assessment on all patients and direct care for acceptable clinical outcomes. * Provide, guide, or direct care within scope of education. * Prepare patients for procedures, tests, lab tests, lifestyle behavior and changes and their existing health status as per clinic standard. * Work with staff on scheduling of patients that allows adequate time for patient needs and decrease wait times. * Order and perform tests and procedures according to education and standards. * Analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition. * Perform follow-up on patients by phone or in person regarding lab and other test results, etc. * Provide call coverage as necessary and comply with all call schedules reasonably established. * Responsible for submission of billing for work done by the physician. * Complete hospital and clinic billing according to the level of care provided. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern diagnosis and treatment techniques in Neurology. * Perform other duties relating to the program as requested by physician division/ hospital administration. Minimum Requirements: * Medical degree or foreign equivalent. * Completion of Neurology residency program, or on track to complete Neurology residency program by June 30th, 2018. * Active Washington State Medical license. * Current Federal DEA License.
