Northport Medical Center is a part of the DCH health system. This hospital has a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. We ask that you be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, with previous EM experience. Northport Medical Center - 47,000 annual visits - 19 beds in ED, 4 are Psy beds - 30 hours of Physician and 24 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician coverage daily - Admission rate of 12% - 15% Pediatric Patients - Meditech EMR System utilized - Hospitalists on staff - 24 hours of radiology reads - All major trauma is transferred to DCH Regional Medical Center - 12 hours of Medical Scribes per day
