TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team at North Shore Medical Center in Miami, Florida. We ask that you be Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM or AOBEM. Candidates must become certified within a period of five years following the date of new applicant’s initial appointment to the medical staff. Other qualifications required are current ACLS and PALS certifications.

Northshore Medical Center is located along the beautiful coastal community of Miami, Florida. This 36-bed ED has an annual patient volume of 58,000 with an admittance rate of 26 percent. MedHost electronic medical record system is utilized at this 357-bed facility, alongside the ED fast track program. In addition, there are 44-hours of daily Physician coverage, and 33-hours of daily Advanced Practice Clinician coverage provided. Many of the specialties offered at Northshore Medical Center are 24-hour availability for Radiology, Anesthesiology, Angioplasty, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, CT, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Hematology and Oncology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Minor Vascular, MRI, Neonatology, Neurology, OB/Gyn, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Speech Therapy, Ultrasound, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and Wound Care.
