The world class cardiothoracic surgery program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an additional General Thoracic Surgeon to join our established and highly respected practice. This position will be based primarily out of our west side regional hospital locations with an affiliation to the Cleveland Clinic main campus.
Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, chest wall, pleural space, and mediastinum. The practice offers a full spectrum of endoscopic procedures of the lungs and esophagus, as well as dilation and stenting procedures. Minimally invasive surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology. Minimally invasive excellence is critical for both lobectomy as well as the care of infectious disease and other thoracic diseases.
Requirements: Board Certified / Board Eligible American Board Thoracic Surgery, and a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain the Ohio medical license. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
