The Northwell Health Department of Hematology & Oncology seeks a dynamic, B/C Chief to join our department at our Long Island Jewish Forest Hills hospital. This community-based practice is integrated directly to the Northwell Cancer Institute. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient-centered care by embracing our core values of teamwork, service, innovation, and quality. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of cancer care, manage a range of diseases, have access to clinical trials, and provide clinical leadership.

Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is a 312-bed community teaching hospital that provides inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, plus obstetrics and gynecology services. The hospital offers a well-regarded medical residency education program. 

Northwell Health treats more than 16,000 patients with cancer, giving patients access to the services of more than 200 Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25 sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is home to Northwell Health’s research and is an epicenter for scientific discovery and innovation, including basic science and clinical research in molecular medicine, genetics, oncology, brain research, mental health, autoimmunity, and bioelectronic medicine. In 2015, Northwell Health and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory began a strategic affiliation to accelerate cancer research, diagnosis and treatment. This collaboration enhances the potential to bring early phase clinical trials to our patients, in addition to a broad offering of cancer clinical trials to patients throughout the region.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
