The Duke Eye Center is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time optometrist to join the Pediatric Division at its new, expanded facility in Winston Salem, NC.   Candidates with residency training and a strong background and interest in pediatric medical eye care and specialty pediatric contact lens fittings are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The optometrist will be expected to function as an independent practitioner within a busy pediatric division at the Duke Eye Center, incorporating primary pediatric care along with routine and specialty contact lens fittings for children. 

The position represents an opportunity for individuals with outstanding clinical skills, experience in the management of pediatric ocular conditions, an interest in specialty pediatric contact lenses, and a desire to be in an environment in which optometrists and ophthalmologists work in concert.
