The Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full time obstetric anesthesiologist to join the Division of Women's Anesthesia. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, have a commitment to teaching and research (clinical or basic sciences) and possess fellowship training in obstetric anesthesiology (or have significant experience and expertise in the field). Excellent communication skills are critical.
The Division of Women's Anesthesiology is responsible for obstetric, gynecologic oncologic, ophthalmologic and urologic anesthesia at Duke. The majority are high-risk obstetric patients.
Faculty appointments and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's academic record. The Department of Anesthesiology offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity and academic excellence.
