CHIEF, MSK BASKING RIDGE MEDICAL ONCOLOGY SERVICE

MSK is seeking an experienced medical hematologist and oncologist to join the Department of Medicine as the Chief, Basking Ridge Medical Oncology Service (MSK Bergen) in the Division of Network Medicine Services, Department of Medicine.   The ideal candidate is a motivated clinician-investigator, who possesses strong clinical skills, a track record of academic accomplishment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to clinical research. The successful candidate will join other service chiefs in the five divisions of the Department of Medicine.

MSK Basking Ridge, established in September, 2006, is a 100,000 sq ft comprehensive ambulatory cancer center in Somerset County, NJ.  In addition to the medical oncology, the campus also provides radiation and surgical oncology, diagnostic radiology, and other consultative services.  The current clinical research program is active and progressive, with future robust program including participation in phase I, immunotherapy and basket trials of targeted agents.  Leadership experience of clinical trial program will be an expectation of the qualified candidate.
