Director, MICU

Rutgers University and the New Jersey Medical School are recruiting a full-time Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Responsibilities are for the overall leadership of the MICU including oversight of all clinical care, research, and educational activities. The MICU has over 1,000 admissions per year with care provided by full-time intensivists, internal medicine residents, and critical care fellows. The successful candidate will be an expert clinician, be capable of independent research, and have a genuine commitment to education and training. Academic rank appointment will be commensurate with experience. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
