The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team. As a Level II Trauma center, the highest trauma designation in Alaska, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the entire state and is the only Magnet designated facility for nursing excellence in Alaska. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography, and collaborative team make this a one of a kind practice opportunity!

Our physicians manage adult and pediatric patients with exposure to a wide variety of pathologies and trauma. Double/Triple physician coverage with the following specialties available in house 24/7: Anesthesia; Obstetrics; IM Hospitalists; Pediatric Hospitalists; CC/Pulmonary Intensivists; Pediatric ICU Intensivists; and Trauma Surgery.

Work Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts; 14 shifts per month.

Average volume: 12 to 15 patients per shift.
