The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks a full-time academic physician to serve as Director of its Heart Failure Program and as Medical Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support. The successful candidate will have at least five to seven years of experience after fellowship in advanced heart failure with expertise in management of ventricular assist devices and will be interested in academic leadership and mentoring. A track record in clinical and/or translational research would be advantageous. Requirements include eligibility for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure.
