A hospital in Mississippi is looking for a pediatric hospitalist who can provide locum tenens coverage for four months from the beginning of February to the end of May. The locum will see bewteen four and 14 neonatal and pediatric patients per day. The provider will be required to do 8 a.m. rounding plus 24-hour call for emergency cases and C-sections. Candidates must be comfortable with central line and short-term vent management, circumcisions, and umbilical cords. The client prefers board certified candidates but will accept board eligible, and candidates must have PALS and ATLS certifications.
