Cleveland Clinic is seeking a fellowship trained Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory for the Pediatric Cardiology Department within the Institute of Pediatrics and the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital.

The successful candidate will lead the Cardiac Catheterization program for the Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center at the Cleveland Clinic. Our congenital heart center team includes 14 cardiologists and 3 congenital cardiothoracic surgeons, including an internationally renowned surgeon who joined in early 2016. In 2017 we will have performed about 280 surgeries, 8000 echocardiograms, 500 catheterization procedures, 400 fetal echocardiograms, and over 180 cardiac MRI's annually. Deliveries at our regional hospitals will total 10,500 and our Special Delivery Unit on Main Campus has 100-150 deliveries per year. We recently designated a dedicated CICU and the Echo lab is ICAEL accredited. We have an active fellowship program with funding available for a 4th year fellowship. We have recently entered the second phase of a regional collaboration with Akron Children's Hospital and together provide the highest quality pediatric and adult congenital heart care to Northeast Ohio and beyond. We are also affiliated with Boston Children's Heart Center for provision of Network contracting for pediatric and congenital heart procedures.

A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. The Department deservedly enjoys a national reputation for excellence in clinical care and patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Vascular Institute which provides cutting edge technology including novel imaging techniques and an on-site 3D printer, ranked #1 in USNWR for 23 straight years. With strong leadership, the program has tremendous academic growth potential. Desirable interests should include clinical and/or basic science research as well as an interest in adult congenital heart disease.

Cleveland Clinic Children's is consistently ranked as one of the best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and has 429 staffed beds, of which 121 are on the main campus, 25 in our free-standing Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, and 283 in 4 other satellite hospitals across Northeast Ohio.
