The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks an experienced gynecologic pathologist to serve as chief. The gynecologic pathology service based in Lake Success, NY, covers two major tertiary hospitals (North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center) along with a robust outreach program. The annual volume of gynecologic pathology cases exceeded 22,000 in 2016 and continues to grow. The chief will supervise a 7-8 member gynecologic pathology team. Eligible candidates must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (or equivalent) should have strong leadership skills, teaching track record, and diagnostic expertise in gynecologic pathology, preferably with 7-10 years of post-fellowship experience in gynecologic pathology. A strong academic background with demonstrated academic accomplishments is also desirable.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
