Job Details

Trinity Health Of New England—the region's largest nonprofit health system—seeks BC/BE Physiatrists to join our expanding regional physical medicine and rehabilitation service line.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a committed, rapidly growing team that offers inpatient, outpatient, general and specialized care, as well as PM&R opportunities, including neuro-rehabilitation/MS, oncology and spine care.  As a member of our team, you will be able to grow and implement your physiatric expertise within a collaborative environment.  Our regional health care system includes two rehabilitation hospitals, a new comprehensive oncology rehabilitation center embedded in a state-of-the-art cancer hospital and a network of ambulatory sites.  We also have musculoskeletal practice opportunities that include our Spine Institute's integrated spine care program.

Our Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research is internationally recognized as a model for integrated care and research. Physiatrists play an important role as part of a team of MS neurologists and skilled MS certified therapists. As we recognize the center's 10-year anniversary—an event that included two international MS Brain symposiums at the Connecticut Convention Center—we celebrate by opening two additional comprehensive centers, which together will form a multisite regional program.

Wherever your interests lie, we provide the chance to practice in a cutting-edge environment and utilize all of your physiatry skills. Botulinum toxin and phenol injections, intrathecal baclofen pumps, trigger-point injections, EMGs, and other procedures are all routinely incorporated into the diagnostic and therapeutic paradigm.

You'll also have opportunities, if you desire, to participate in clinical education and research through the Rehabilitation Institute, a partnership between the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and Trinity Health Of New England.

Trinity Health Of New England is proud of its focus on provider collaboration. Our practice model empowers physicians to work at their highest level, while allowing time for professional development and family life. Whether you are focused on providing outstanding patient-centered care or driven to grow into a leadership role, it's time to join Trinity Health Of New England—a great place to practice and live, with close proximity to beaches, world-class skiing and all that New England has to offer!
