American Family Care centers take urgent care to a new level by offering additional on-site services such as x-rays and labs, improved wait times, speedier visits, and more highly trained medical staff than other urgent care providers. We are also open early and late, seven days per week. All of our centers accept most local and national insurance plans and offer very affordable self-pay options.

While all of our centers provide exceptional “Family Care” to everyone from children to seniors, many of our centers also offer the convenience of long-term care and insurance processing of primary care facilities.

Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. We have a moderately-complex lab (that includes hematology and chemistry) and full scope digital x-rays. We are open extended hours (8am-8pm on weekdays and 8am-5pm on weekends) seven days a week. Walk-ins are welcome as appointments are not required. We accept most major insurance plans.

Our physicians must see patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.). They must also be comfortable handling minor orthopedic injuries and be able to read x-rays. Exposure to occupational medicine is also a plus. Physicians must have a clean medical malpractice record, an unrestricted medical license, Federal DEA license, and ACLS certification. Our clinical staffing model contemplates that our physicians are accompanied by two Certified Medical Assistants and one X-Ray Technologist. All our patients are treated by the board-certified physician on-shift. Our centers’ electronic medical records software is DocuTAP.
