MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST, CLINICIAN/CLINICAL INVESTIGATOR

Gastrointestinal Cancer Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is recruiting an outstanding medical oncologist to join our rapidly growing multidisciplinary program. Academic rank as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The Gastrointestinal Cancer Center is a thriving clinical and translational research unit dedicated to the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. There is a strong academic orientation to our program with extensive translational research to identify new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. The focus of this position is on expert clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies and clinical investigation of novel therapies. The successful candidate is expected to become an expert in gastrointestinal oncology; develop, participate, and lead clinical and translational research projects; and take an active role in the Center's clinical activities. The successful candidate will also engage in teaching students, house staff, and fellows in the lab, clinic, and inpatient settings. The position will be based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Harvard Medical School.
